Their bigger cousins often get all of the adoration and people travelling all over the world to find them in the wild, but of the 40 plus species of cats in the world only a handful are ‘big’ the majority of wild cat species are small. Sized anywhere between a small house cat and a spaniel dog, the small cats are just as fascinated, just as beautiful and just as rewarding to find, observe and understand.
