All our small cat watching holidays, wildlife tours and safaris all over the world are listed below:

Their bigger cousins often get all of the adoration and people travelling all over the world to find them in the wild, but of the 40 plus species of cats in the world only a handful are ‘big’ the majority of wild cat species are small. Sized anywhere between a small house cat and a spaniel dog, the small cats are just as fascinated, just as beautiful and just as rewarding to find, observe and understand. At Royle Safaris we have worked hard to bring many of these species to our clients on initiative wildlife tours exploring some of the world’s most remote and wild locations.

Some of the world’s smaller cat species are well known, such as the 4 species of lynx in the world or the beautifully patterned ocelot of the Americas; but some are so little understood and seldom seen that they are nearly mythical to researchers and scientists as well as cat enthusiasts, such as the bay cat of Borneo or the Andean mountain cat of the high Andes.

But whether they are well known or next to impossible to study, we have a range of small cat watching tours all over the world. So if you want to find the rarest cat in the world the Iberian lynx or head to southern Africa in search of the tiny black-footed cat you can book with our dedicated guides and have near 100% success rate in seeing them, or you can book trips to South America or Borneo and try to find and watch several different species of small cat on the same trip.

Whether it is intense cat watching which is your absolute passion, or if you just enjoy watching some of the rarer and more elusive mammals which people usually do not see we have the Small Cat Watching Tour for you. So have a look at the holidays we offer and join one of the Small Cat Safaris today.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
