All our river wildlife watching holidays, river wildlife tours and river safaris all over the world are listed below:

River safaris offer unique perspectives on wildlife watching. Enjoy the comfort of a relaxing slow cruise down a river or across a lake or lagoon watching animals come to the banks to drink, or spot hippos as they snort and lounge at the surface or spot kingfishers dipping and diving into the water to hunt for fish. With many options across the world, from cruising in the Sundarbans on a liveaboard boat looking for river dolphins and tigers to day trips along the mightly Kinabatangan or Rio Napo in Borneo and Ecaudor respectively; we have a great variety of wildlife watching trips which use rivers and other freshwater ways to explore the habitat.

Exploring the waterways of Asia, Africa and South America to see the wildlife from a different angle is a great experience. From a wildlife photography point of view you will often by a eye level with the wildlife as they come down to the rivers and this ideal for capturing the true mood of wildlife.

It is not just animals coming down to the river are seen on our River Safaris you also have a great chance to see aquatic creatures such as crocodiles, river dolphins, manatees, kingfishers, storks and hippos which live all or most of their lives in river systems around the world.

From River Safaris through the Amazon Rainforest or Wildlife River Cruises exploring the mighty rivers of Asia such as the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Kinabatangan, we are sure that Royle Safaris has the perfect River Safari for you.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
