All our horseback and camel riding wildlife watching holidays, wildlife tours and safaris all over the world are listed below:

Riding safaris are probably the most exhilarating way of viewing wild animals as well as appreciating the incredible scenery and views of the last remaining wildernesses in the world. There are plenty of options for riders of all abilities. Whether on horseback or riding camels, riding safaris are a popular and exciting way of going on safari. There really is nothing more thrilling than cantering alongside an elegant giraffe or galloping through the pampas in search of anteaters and tapirs.

Experienced horse riders can enjoy fast paced safaris riding at speed alongside the wildlife of eastern or southern Africa. But inexperienced riders can also participate with beginners safari and even lessons for complete novices. The great advantage with horseback safaris is that the shape of the human is disguised by the shape and movement of a horse, so you can get closer to the wildlife than by vehicle or on foot.

Another advantage of horseback riding to walking is that it is possible to cover significant distances over remote regions quickly and also the dexterity of horse means it can get into places that vehicles just cannot.

Along with horseback safaris there are various places where camel safaris are also possible. Riding a camel in the wilderness offers a deep and spiritual connection with the landscape. The camel is one of the most elegantly desert animals and as they walk casually across wild and remote plains you will have the most magical safari experience.

There are also some locations where elephant back safaris are still permitted and the elephants are cared for sustainably and within the guidelines of good animal welfare, also there are various elephant sanctuaries where animals have been rescued from lives as working animals or were not looked after well. These places offer the chance to spend time with the elephants, feeding them, washing them and walking along with them and learning about these fantastic animals.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
