All our cultural & historical wildlife watching holidays, wildlife tours and safaris all over the world are listed below:

Only when understanding the local people, their customs, religions and history is it possible to understand the wildlife and conservation issues facing it. There are often some important historical or culturally significant locations close to the best wildlife watching locations and by combining the two we provide a comprehensive overview of the region, country or culture you are visiting.

Countries such as India, Bhutan, Cambodia or Nepal are entrenched in culture and history. It is hard to think of these places and not have images of the Taj Mahal, Buddhist pray flags, Angkor Wat and other religious, cultural and historical monuments pop into your head. We also understand that for many people a trip to these far flung and exotic countries is a once in a lifetime experience and so visiting for tigers and not the Taj Mahal just doesn’t make any sense.

So where possible we include many cultural experiences to our wildlife watching holidays, we also understand that not everyone is interested in these parts of a trip and so we have options with and without these cultural experience. However if you find an itinerary we offer that doesn’t include a cultural or historical aspect which you would like to include then feel free to contact us and we can tailor the itinerary to include anything.

So whether you wish to hike into the iconic Machu Picchu in Peru or learn more about Tibetan Buddhism as well as exploring the Amazon or finding snow leopards then we have the Historical & Cultural Holiday for you. Please browse our selection of Culture & History Tours around the world below and join us today.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
