Anaconda Watching Tour (Los Llanos) January 14, 2022
£725 – £2789

All our butterfly and insect watching holidays, wildlife tours and safaris all over the world are listed below:

Butterflies never fail to delight and entrance people, their amazing variety of colours, patterns, shapes and sizes are a wonder of the natural world. But there is more to the world of insects and invertebrates than these colourful members, there are literally millions of species and they dominate our planet. They are as varied and wonderful as any group of large animals and there is a growing interest in insects, arachnids and other invertebrates. So we have established some specialist tours dedicated to these animals.

Many examples of insects and arachnids are quite fearsome in their own rights, animals such as scorpions, dragonflies, ants and spiders are the lions, eagles, wolves and tigers of the miniature world all around us. Many are absolutely beautiful, their colourations and iridescence are stunning and their life cycles are wonderful and often very bizarre to us.

As more and more people look to travel to find and observe some of the smaller groups of animals in the world we are always looking to cater for all interests and desires. This has resulted in more and more specific Insect Tours developing, whether they are general Invertebrate Tours, Butterfly Tours, Dragonfly Tours or even Spider Tours we aim to have a tour that suits all interests.

All of our Insect Tours are guided by experts who will go out of their way to showcase the most species and interesting behaviours available, some of the species may seem very similar and so our guides will make sure to point out and highlight the subtle differences between closely related species.

On some of our more exotic insect tours to tropical areas there is also always the chance that we may come across a new species to the region or perhaps even a new species to science! These trips are maybe the last naturalist tours that could find species previously completely unknown.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
