Our wildlife holidays, wildlife tours and safaris of Namibia are listed below:

Sand dunes which stand as tall as mountains, a coastline which is so inhospitable it has been called the Skeleton Coast, baking hot salt pans which stretch as far as the eye can see! It is a wonder that there is any wildlife to see at all in Namibia; but my word…there are many many things to see and do here. The sand dunes provide one of the most photogenic backdrops for animals in the world; when you spot a solitary gemsbok or ostrich striding across the orange sand in front of dunes which would dwarf the Eiffel Tower you’ll know exactly what I mean. The same coastline which has taken so many ships by surprise plays host to a huge population of cape fur seals which in turn have brown hyaenas, jackals and lions which prey on their pups; producing one of the most bizarre wildlife events in the world; and as for the huge salt pans…well all they do is congregate wildlife in the small areas where water is an ever present. What a place for wildlife!

Our tours of Namibia aim to showcase the wealth of life that can live in some of the harshest environments in the world, huge herds of springbok, impala, blue wildebeest and greater kudu aggregate around the water holes and of course where there is prey there are carnivores and Namibia is the best place in the world to see wild cheetah as well as that brown hyaena and leopards, lions and spotted hyaena are also commonly seen here. The bird life here is also stunning with the largest bird in the world, ostriches and other rarities like Hartlaub’s francolin, violet woodhoopoe and lappet-faced vultures.

So if you want huge, stunning landscapes, wild, rugged coastlines, good chances of seeing black rhinos and cheetah and visit a country many Europeans bypass on the way to South Africa; well if all that tickles your fancy join one of our tours to Namibia and see a different side to southern Africa which trades the bushveld of South Africa and the swamps of Botswana for wide open expanses littered with wildlife.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
