Our wildlife holidays, wildlife tours and safaris of China are listed below:
Giant Pandas, Golden Snub-nosed Monkeys, Snow Leopards, Red Pandas, Tibetan Antelopes, Black-crested Gibbons and many more. China is home to a huge diversity and abundance of wildlife, particularly stunning and endangered wildlife that is only or best seen in the country. China may not seem like the best wildlife watching destination but there are some places in China which have some of the best wildlife watching locations in Asia and there is the chance of coming face to face with some of the world’s most endangered species.
China is huge, the diversity of landscapes and ecosystems is vast, but with this varied array of habitats the country has one of the largest diversities of species in the world. Whether it is the high altitude grasslands of the Tibetan plateau or the lush tropical and sub-tropical forests of the South West we have a range of wildlife watching holidays to China.
Boasting some of the world’s most well known species of mammals including Giant Pandas and Red Pandas as well as Asian Elephants, Tigers, Brown Bears, Tibetan Wolves and Snow Leopard China is the perfect place to visit for mammal watching. As well as these more common and well known species there are many species which are less understood and China has the best places in the world to see them; such as Pallas’s Cat, Chinese Mountain Cat, Asian Badger and Golden Snub-nosed Monkey.
Our China Mammal Watching tour focuses on the south west province of Sichuan and also the far eastern provinces of Qinghai and Gansu which are some of the best wildlife watching locations in Asia. There are many areas which are off limits or require specialist permits and we are experts in obtaining these. We also keep most of our locations a secret so that we do not encourage unsustainable tourism in some of the more remote areas.
As well as mammal watching in Sichuan and Qinghai the locations we visit are a mecca for birding and bird watching tours. The resident bird populations are huge here and in both spring and autumn the migratory numbers of birds is just mind blowing. So if you are interested in birding or bird watching in China you can contact us and we can tailor a birding tour to suit any requirements.
Join one of our wildlife tours to Chin and view the both species of pandas in the wild as well as a variety of other highly sought after mammals such as Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, Pallas’s cat, Tibetan wolves, Tibetan antelope, wild yak and many many more.
All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
