Our wildlife holidays, wildlife tours and safaris of Brazil are listed below:

For a long long time wildlife travel to Brazil was concentrated around bird watching or cruises down the Amazon, and whilst these are still top draws to this huge and beautiful country Royle Safaris are proud to introduce a fantastic range of mammal watching holidays and tours of Brazil. There is a huge variety of mammals in Brazil, many of which are endemic and many more endangered. Whether you have always wanted to see wild jaguars or maybe try your luck at spotting the fox-on-stilts that is the maned wolf or perhaps you have always dreamt of seeing the unusual giant anteaters, armadillos and sloths of South America then our range of mammal watching tours of Brazil are for you. But is would be wrong of us not to offer fantastic birding holidays here either and in our harpy eagle tour you will be taken to the heart of the Atlantic Rainforest in search of one of the greatest birds in the world.

Our main focus of course is the jaguar, the ultimate king of the jungle in South America, the third largest species of cat in the world and an animal which has for a long time remained too elusive to wildlife watchers. But not any more, we offer dedicated jaguar watching holidays to the Pantanal, where we have a 100% success in spotting jaguars. We also average 1.1 jaguars per day whilst staying in our special jaguar camp in the heart of their territory. But we have also worked hard in finding fantastic locations elsewhere in Brazil which offer the chances of seeing maned wolves, ocelots, Brazilian tapir, white-whiskered spider monkeys, giant otters, neotropical otters and dozens more species.

So whether you would just like to see and photograph jaguars or maned wolves or maybe spend a week staking out harpy eagles in the Atlantic Rainforest we have the wildlife holidays for you in Brazil. Or if you would like to jet off for a real exploration of the Pantanal or more of Brazil in search of mammals, birds and reptiles then we are positive that we have the best wildlife holidays and tours around and you will not be disappointed. With 100% records in finding jaguars and maned wolves and expert guides who know the national parks better than anyone at our disposal we are confident of maintaining this record.

Where ever possible we incorporate classic accommodation, excellent local guides and of course world class wildlife watching in all our tours and for our Brazil tours we have excelled (if we do say so ourselves). We have travelled far and wide in this huge country and stumbled across some of the best wildlife locations, where not only do we regularly see the main species we also have the chances for some real gems such as; ocelots, giant armadillos, puma, oncilla, hoary foxes and Azara’s night monkey. All in all we would recommend any of our Brazil tours for any wildlife enthusiast who would like further their wildlife watching and enter the often hidden ecosystems of Brazil south of the Amazon.

By joining any of our mammal or birding Brazil holidays you will be ensured of some of the best wildlife highlights anywhere in the world and with a little luck you could even add in South America’s big five to your mammal collection or perhaps the harpy eagle to your bird list.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
