Our wildlife holidays, wildlife tours and safaris of Bolivia are listed below:

Being a landlocked country hasn’t stopped Bolivia from harboring some of South America’s most iconic vistas and a wealth of wildlife. Bolivia is home to a large range of ecosystems many as different from the last it is hard to believe you are in the same country.

From large wetlands in the Pantanal to dry and desolate salt pans to high altitude  grasslands and snow covered mountains; Bolivia is a microcosm of the whole of South America. Add to that indigenous people’s and historical sites and you ahve the ideal South American destination for many types of holidays. Not least wildlife watching tours.

Landlocked between Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Chile, the country has some stunning Andean scenery and some of the highest peaks in the Americas. With the majority of the Bolivian population lives in the altiplano, a windswept plateau between two mountain ranges and an ancient (pre-Incan civilisation) language (Aymara) still in use by many native people.

Bolivia is home to some wonderful near endemic species such as Chacoan peccary and blue-throated macaws but many of South America’s most iconic species are found here in good numbers and with several reliable locations such as jaguars, lowland tapirs, pumas and some smaller lesser seen animals such as ocelots and various armadillos. We make the most of these locations on our wildlife watching holidays and aim to showcase the best of what Bolivia has to offer.

Our Bolivian Cat Watching Tour focuses on the various species of cat which can be seen in both of the Pantanal wetlands and the Chaco arid scrublands. These are of course Jaguars, Pumas, Ocelots and Jaguarondis. But there are many other species that can be seen when looking for these cats; we also run trips to search for more elusive cat species in Bolivia such as Andean mountain cats, Colocolos and Margay cats.

Join one of our wildlife tours to Bolivia and view the experience one of the most underrated wildlife watching destinations in the world; much cheaper than Brazil, the Pantanal is a must for any wildlife enthusiast. Jaguars, Caimans, Tapirs, Anteaters, Macaws, Sloths, Pumas, Peccaries, Ocleots, Condors, Anacondas and many more are all awaiting you in Bolivia.

All these tours are available on other dates (subject to availability) than the dates listed. Please contact us to arrange a tour on a date which suits you.
