Tigers, lions, leopards and the magic grey ghost were all highlights for me. Also getting to see the culture of Northern India and the Buddhist influence was a key highlight. Lots of time spent looking for cats and also good time for enjoying the country, its people
The wildlife highlight was seeing a tiger lying on the road in front of us, we would have liked closer snow leopards, but we did see more than one. I would like to come back again and try for a close up picture. Thought the trip was
Very well run trip, lots of logistics to juggle and expertly done in my opinion. We saw all of the big cats we wanted, but failed with the leopard cat. However that was a difficult one. Elephants were and are always a highlight!
The fossa and indri were the standout highights for sure. Nary was also a good guide and excellent driver, we had good local guides at each park as well.
Our guide (Nary)…did an awful lot of driving and kept alert. He also found us very good local guides at each park
Wildlife viewing was good…Nary was accommodating in moving us to the camp inside the park for better fossa sightings…
Wildlife highlights were Fossa in Kirindy with prolonged views of different behaviours. Indri in Andasibe with their interesting calls. Aye-Ayes at Palmarium seeing feeding behaviour.
The Tsingy was very hard, but the best thing to look back on and say ‘I did that!’. My wildlife highlights were seeing and hearing the indris and just getting so close to aye-ayes and other lemurs….loved every second of the holiday
Loved it! Gorillas were the best, we got to do them twice and being able to do that was brilliant!
Time with the gorillas was the highlight as was visiting the museum. The tour met all my expectations and I thought that the tour was great.
Highlight was the river cruises and staying at the Akaka camp. Provided opportunity to see lots of wildlife at close range (elephants along bank, birds, crocs, snakes) and nice not being in a vehicle. Staying at Akaka camp was neat; felt like a unique experience staying in
I had wanted to come to Gabon for years. It was open for a while and then closed and then open again, when speaking to Martin we knew we could do this and we developed this very good itinerary. Loved every second and got our main target
