We loved the 3 national parks – Sokoke, Mara, and Tsavo. Overall the trip was excellent and easy. As first time travelers to Kenya, we thought the level of service was excellent.
Awesome experience and trip. The only thing I would change would be the roads were a little worse for wear in some places, but that is to be expected.
This was one of the most perfect holidays we had so far with our family. We’ve seen so much wildlife, the big five, beautiful birds and the scenery was just lovely. Our guide was very professional but built a quick and great relationship with the whole family.
The animals on the safari were a highlight – a lioness guarding her cubs, elephants traveling together with their young, a giraffe walking with 2 young ones a seated giraffe – wow, plus lots of gazelles and a variety of other animals. It was really quite exciting
Amazing safari by Royle Safaris visiting Amboseli, West and East Tsavo. High class driver/guide, pleasant accommodation in lodges inside parks. No words about nature and wildlife-only senses and emotions.
My wildlife highlight….elephants, so many elephants! Babies, watching them play and wash was amazing. The none-wildlife highlight….visiting the bridge over the Tsavo river, whilst not much is left, it was interesting to see the historical landmark.
Getting the iconic shot of the elephants as they walked past Kilimanjaro was by favouite moment on the trip. Ever since i was a kid i wanted to see that and experience it. Thank you Martin for making it happen
Overall, this was a great trip. The accommodations and guides were excellent, and Kenya is absolutely spectacular. We loved Tsavo, probably more than we did the Mara as it was the ‘unknown’ quantity of the tour.
Incredible experience! We did this safari tour in Kenya and loved every minute of it!
I had heard good things about Royle Safaris before I booked and I can confirm now that they were really good. Martin was our port of call and he was really helpful and very reactive on email. Our guide knew very well the wildlife and is very
Ever since I heard the story I had to visit Tsavo and see where the man-eating lions lived and died. We didn’t see any maneless lions but we did see many lions, very pleased none were man-eaters 🙂
Being outnumbered by elephants when on safari was a first for us….the level of guiding was top draw…lodges and vehicle all very comfortable
