Venezuela has one of the highest diversities of bird, reptile and amphibian life in the world and it is no wonder why when you think about the vast variety of ecosystems there are here. From the snow capped Andes to the dense rainforests of the Amazon and from the constantly wet and magical cloud forests to the seasonally flooded plains such as Los Llanos.

Whether it is giant green anacondas sliding beneath the reeds of the Los Llanos swamps or bird watching for the splendid quetzal in the rainforests of Henry Pittier National Park you will be in wildlife heaven throughout Venezuela. We offer two very specific types of wildlife holiday, one is dedicated to reptiles and amphibians and aims which will start off by searching the tiny colourful frogs of the cloud forests and end with a quest for the huge and legendary giant green anacondas and stealthy caimans. The other tour is a birding holiday and takes in the best bird watching destinations across this diverse country; with Andean condors, many hummingbirds and rare endemics all on the cards this is a bird watching mecca and one that rivals the better known locations in Ecuador.
